Affiliate Disclosure content

Last updated: July 2026

As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. Retro Reel Rides is also a participant in the eBay Partner Network. Some links on this site are affiliate links, meaning we may receive a small commission if you click through and make a purchase — at no additional cost to you.

Why this page exists

The Federal Trade Commission requires anyone who earns a commission from recommending products to disclose that relationship clearly, and both Amazon and eBay require the same as a condition of participating in their affiliate programs. We’d disclose this even if it weren’t required, because it’s the honest thing to do — you should know when a recommendation comes with a financial incentive attached.

What this means in practice

  • Some links in our case files — particularly links to auctions, listings, or products related to a vehicle we’ve researched — are affiliate links through the Amazon Associates program or the eBay Partner Network.
  • If you click one of these links and make a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission. The price you pay is exactly the same whether you use our link or go directly to the retailer.
  • Affiliate links are marked individually within articles, typically with a “(paid link)” tag, in addition to this sitewide disclosure.

Editorial independence

We choose which vehicles to research based on what’s genuinely interesting or under-told — not based on which ones happen to have the best affiliate opportunities attached. Commission potential never determines what gets covered or what we say about a vehicle’s history or fate. Confidence tiers on every claim are assigned based on the strength of the sourcing, not on anything commercial.
